With your support, Guardian will live on, operating in SF Bay waters for years to come.

Plans for Guardian include: 

• Preservation and Restoration of Guardian to her prior condition, with upgrades that honor her vintage and provide for safety and operational readiness

• Providing free rides to the public, especially children and those who otherwise lack access to the waters of the Bay

• Making celebratory appearances on the Bay for various events

• Becoming the sole Type 1 Fireboat Training Facility on the West Coast for firefighters and mariners 

• Acting as a floating maritime and fire service history museum – in partnership with the Guardians of the City Museum in San Francisco, CA

• Acting as the Northern California Maritime Unit of Fireworks America, providing the Bay's safest and most beautiful certified and permitted pyrotechnics displays on the water

• A venue for dockside celebrations and memorials for First Responders and their families 

• A standby vessel to help Bay Area waterfront communities, should the next "big one" ever strike the area.
